Modular Combat is a role-playing shooter based in the Half-Life universe. There are over 50 modules that can be upgraded at any level, in any combination. Modules give combatants amazing abilities such as flying, teleporting, spawning minions, and shooting flechettes or energy balls.
Matthew logs into the game to test out the new Turrets. There are several other major changes in this gameplay video that long-time fans should notice right away.

Nice effects when it's summoned or w.e, is that gonna be there for all of the minions?
Also, do the turrets have HP, or do they die when they are knocked over?
Also, about when do you think the next patch is gonna be done/released?
Probably HP. he say in the description they cannot be knocked over.
Those are the new particle effects that Winston has been working on - they're very, very cool. I always just want to stop and watch them spawn.
If you are attentive, You can see a monster spawned several times, I believe the particle affects are for everything that is summoned in MC, Just a guess.
Two questions... What lvl were those turrets X/X lvls. And was that a glitch when the turret fell over? Btw love the new spawning animation
I believe I was level 1 or 2, so those turrets were level 3 (as shown through the ID) and the monsters were relatively low level. We still have to test the turrets to balance them right, but I'm feeling pretty confident that they're going to rock.
wow, that's awesome. my thoughts: the new spawning effects are great, the turrets not being able to be nocked down is great, also i see you found out how to make the turrets blow up like in ep2 ;3. can't wait for the next release ^_^. also i was wondering if this would become a steam release in the future?(just a thought, not a suggestion)

well the effects are nice, but as i feared, the turrets are ridiculously easy to topple until they are set. i would take a setting time over having it fall over 13532 times.
We fixed this - turrets now "latch" to the ground so they don't tip over. It's pretty sweet looking.
So..It's like tower defense, but not quite?
