The AN-94, Avtomat Nikonova, a Russian assault rifle manufactured in 1994. It was designed as a potential replacement to the AK-74 series, however, its complex design and expense had complicated the adoption.
The AN-94 offers a unique two-shot burst function at a stated 1800 rounds per minute rate of fire. The Nikonov mechanism fires the second shot in the burst quickly enough to allow it to escape before the recoil of the first shot is felt, thus potentially allowing the two shots to hit extremely close together.
That being said, the unique RPM isn't available for the current COP engine, but it will when the right time comes, it is available on other mods like "Call of Chernobyl", but not for Misery, not yet.
This model will be the standard issue in TAZ 2.0, the already presented model will be removed with all its variants "except for the Veteran AN-94 since it has a different model", this is due to the overall quality. We were not happy with the formal model iron sights, Kuba took upon himself the challenge of creating all variants from scratch, for the new model, a sacrifice he made for the sake of our beloved game :)

I like the fact that the magazine is sticking to the right side as it should. Although I believe that AN-94 has peep sights in real life.

propably the most interesting modern assault rifle love the Design and Concept just too bad few are build and its mostly a VDV and Spetznatz only gun. so theres no way to make the two shot burst work as it should?

Yes you are right, the sight isn't as IRL, but it is much better than the one we had, I will try to find another model with different sights.
The gas tube is actually under the barrel? Never noticed it before, probably because I almost never used this gun on any stalker game. My go-to gun in vanilla stalker used to be the Sig 550. I'll have to give it a try when TAZ for misery 2.2 is released.
You will have a lot of choices in TAZ 2.0, the amount and varieties of weapons will be vast, you will probably end up doing several playthroughs just for the sack of a new gun :D
Ughhh i just can't stand that bent sideways magazine system. Looks as if the gun doesn't have a mag when held default. Any chance for us folks to have the previous variant with the ak type magazine as well (the one like in default armed zone currently but with ak anims perhaps.?) The slanted magazine is really hard on the eyes, even tho it's like that in real life.
Pretty model on the other hand, cheers
