Miracle of the Lightningstorm is a Mod wich basicly aim for more Fun and adds over hundrets of new Units, Buildings and will improve the Gameplay Mechanichs.
Here is the list we want to add:
- A Technology Tree for each General
- Better Graphics, bringin the Enginge to its Limit
- More Units
- More Buildings
- More Maps
We will improve every Faction with better units and more.
Also the Mod will change every General.
So here are the Generals:
Vanilla USA -> Mech Forces
The Mech Forces Generals Main Units are modular based Walkers. You can equip every Walker with a weapon by purchasing it when you select the Walker. This makes the Units very flexible. The first units will be weak but as more you advance in your technology tree you get more Weapon Technologies to equip.
Airforce -> Armed Assault Forces
The Armed Assault Forces General (short AAF) Main units are very Fast and Powerful and based on Troop Transports. So in the eralier game, you will be able to create diffrent kinds of Troop Transports. Later you can unlock heavy Infantry and Air Support.
Laser -> Scientific Forces
The Scientific Forces General uses Weapons and Units based on a kind of Alien Technology wich was hided in Area 52. You start with a small bunch of well trained Infantry and puls laser unts. Later in Game you are able to research difrent Kinds of Laser Technology such as Laserflow and Plasma Burst technologies. When researched you unlock heavier and stronger Tanks, but be aware most Technologies aren't very Stable so use them wisely.
Super Weapons -> Defense General
The Defense General have only one purpose: Building the heaviest Base Defense ever seen. You don't have many different units but you can advance by pushing the Front line more and more to the enemy and build up you defenses nearer and nearer to the enemy base. Later ingame you are able to build a bunch of superweapons like an Orbital Strike from a Sattelite you shoot in space before.
Vinilla China -> Propaganda General
The Propaganda General mainly aims to bring up the civilians against your enemy. By building radio Towers in the near of Cities you can build up recruitment centers, where you can train the Civilians as an Army. Later in Game after a bit of researching you are able to train more and more powerful numbers of soildiers. After researching the "P-Programm" you will unlock geneticly modified civilians wich are extremly loyal soildiers.
Tank General -> Tank General
The Tank General will be able to produce more and different kinds of tanks. Early in Game you can specialize your Warfactory for Mass Producing so you can Spam Cheap but weak Tanks. Later ingame you will be ablte to build up an Army of High Armored and powerful Tanks such as the "Shaniban" Rotator Tank. It uses a technology where the Barrels after fired rotate to cool down so another barrel can used to fire. It sounds like Gattling but the barrels are set up horizontaly wich means: More Barrels and Faster Fire rate.
Infantry General -> Electro General
The Electro General uses lighting and electronic Warefare to defeat its enemys. First you set down any communication of the enemy, than you attack with Weapons such as Tesla Coils and Weather Control.
Nuclear General -> Isotope and Disruptor General
The Isotope and Disruptor General first uses primitive Nuclear weapons, like small nukes in the Tankhunters Rockets. Later ingame your main focus changes to disruptor technologies, using the power of atoms to desintigrate the enemy atom for atom until nothing is left.
Vanilla GLA -> Salvaged and Stolen Weapons
The Slaved and Stolen Weapons Generals uses technologies stolen from Other Generals and builded up its own variant of it. In the early Game you use salavge to build up your troops. Like building a scrap yard and producing tanks out of scrapped vehicles. Later you are able to steal technologies and try to research them. After this you are able to build your own "special" variant of this technology.
Toxin General -> Toxin General
The Toxin General uses Toxins, Acid and other deadly substances. In the early Game you only have Toxins to kill infantry and pilots out of the vehicles and capture them. in the Midgame you use Acid wich corrodes through flesh and metal. In late game you don't attack directly anymore, instead of this you uses pollution and acid rain to defat your enemy by pressing buttons.
Explosive/Stealth General -> Ambush General
The Explosive and Steath General will be now one general. The ambush general uses explosive or hidden units like snipers. Eraly in game you are able to use booth: Hidden units and explosives like car bombs later in game your main focus changes on wich technologies you choose. So you professionalise you on Explosives or Stealth.
So as you read above it will be a bit slow work at the mod. I am a father now :)
So dont exept much prograss in a few weeks. In a few days there will come images of the new Models for the Future Tech General.
