Replace the compass with a stylish, useful minimap. V1 release is out!
I can`t believe how much time it took to develop those 7 lines of code ._.
Different icons coming soon*
did we see here 10 tagpoints at once ? :D
Yeah, now you can have as many as you want. You place it, or spawn with the mission script, on the map and name it "objective_" and the name of the icon to use.
Simple :)
what a great work! this was so long expected! so every tagpoint can have a uniqu icon ?
Whoa, let`s not overdo it :P
For now, there are 3 icons the tagpoint can have:
- main mission
- sub mission
- default( for whatever purpose )
The code checks the name of every tagpoint on the map, if it includes the word "objective". If it does, then it checks for the icon name, like:"main" "sub"
Every other that is an objective, but doesn`t have the icon specified, gets the default icon.
i dont get it: you really parse every frame trough all tagpointnames? and how to tell which have to be drawn actually and which not ?
Yes.
If you place a tagpoint and name it "merc1_patrol0" it won't be drawn. But if there is a tagpoint with the name "main objective 4" or " objective_optional7" those two will be drawn, because they both contain the word "objective" inside their names.
and how to activate / deactivate objective tagpoints during missiondesign ?
I`m experimenting with a few possibilities. We`ll see how it turns out.
maybe we can diskuss a method with pm. how did you draw the tagpoints, as new additional layers?
