Especially since Burer hands are worth 1500RU when traded to a trader who will buy them at full price. :)

Err, quick question - are you or are you not using my modified scripts and configs to enable full mutant drops? IE mutants drop correct number of bodyparts? 1500ru seems like a fair chunk.

I love the mutant drops. Great way to scare up some decent coin early in.

I am NOT using your particular code; I used what I had in Faction Fronts originally (which was not fully implemented for all mutants, IIRC) and then I used Yuki's MicroMods Forgotten Fiends to add the missing mutants, and their parts (Forgotten Finds).

I then tweaked the resulting set so that spawns are fixed for EVERY mutant (every mutant excepting Poltergeist has a drop now).

From there, you have a guaranteed drop on some mutants (either due to rarity or because they are common) and unfortunately, it's not as realistic as the parts-to-monster ratio code of other mods.

I do feel, however, this simplistic approach gives you more inventory room and less inventory to manage.

Totting around 48 Flesh Eyes, 16 Snork Feet, 3 Chimera Cogots, 4 Bloodsucker jaws, 27 Boar Hooves, and 57 dog tails makes for an interesting sell-all-you-can event at the Duty Base - and a lot to carry around while doing it - and this is just with one part per mutant.

With the increased mutant spawn rates, you will be accumulating mutant parts quite quickly, and indeed, I've financed entire new guns and armor this way.

Also, don't forget that new weaponry is balanced according to region; WARSAW pact weapons will be far cheaper than the shiny, expensive, NATO imports you can find in-game.

That's another reason for the pricing scheme on the mutant drops. Trust me when I say it balances out. :)

Description

The player, equipped with the Monolith Suit and a Winchester 1300, checks the corpse of a freshly defeated Burer in the Swamps.

Monster hunting will be an important source of earned revenue in M.I.N.E., offering good rewards for those players brave enough to venture out at night when the mutants are most active.
