The Cold War was a state of political and military tension after World War II between powers in the Western Bloc (the United States, its NATO allies and others such as Japan) and powers in the Eastern Bloc (the Soviet Union and its allies in the Warsaw Pact). Historians have not fully agreed on the dates, but 1946-1991 is common. It was "cold" because there was no large-scale fighting directly between the two sides, although there were major regional wars in Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan that the two sides supported. The Cold War split the temporary wartime alliance against Nazi Germany, leaving the USSR and the US as two superpowers with profound economic and political differences: the former being a single-party Marxist-Leninist state and the latter being a capitalist state with free elections. This mod presents the player with many Communist and Capitalist nations in a scenario where war has broken out between the Warsaw Pact and NATO/UN nations.
Cool, would like to see these go against early M60s and L7 equipped Centurions such as the Mk 6 Centurion.
To the west!
To the West, to the West, to the East, to The East lol.
Not a bad tank when there's enough of them.
Was a pretty awful tank. Very cramped turret(Compared to T-55), mediocre mobility, lengthy reload(due to cramped turret). Not much more armored than the T-55. The gun should hurt whatever it hits though. The T-64 and T-64A will be much scarier
Like I said; "when there's enough of them." It wasn't designed to win one on one fights. it was designed to win fights with 3 or 4 more of it's buddies.
actually it had an autoloader (first russian tank with the carosule loader) but had to turn the turret all the way forward to reload, also, the loader jammed as often as it could
Yes, As he said USSR military doctrine never intended to produce tanks for 10 000 vs 10 000 fights. It was intended to fight like 10 000 vs 35 000
damn youre right
