Just because it has been moving slowly it doesn't mean it is dead. Time hasn't been on my side lately in what relates to modding.

Description

The Praetorian race in the Praetorian Mod has received some new concepts some more gameplay oriented and other more visual concepts. Starting from the visual concepts, some Praetorian buildings now have permanent residents which will often defend the building they are in, in case they are attacked. They can be killed but worry not, as long as the building survives the attack, a new guard will appear after some time.
On the gameplay part, two things of note in this video:
Praetorian Conscripts work better in large groups, receiving bonus from the presence of other conscripts in the area (not just from the same squad) and thus are useful as support forces with decent melee damage (at least when you add everyone of them up) or low ranged damage support for Praetorian Guardsmen (which cannot fire most ranged weapons while moving and so are vulnerable to attacks). They can also serve as scouting and early harass units, since their cheap price and combat capabilities at max loadout are decent enough in early attacks.
Praetorians do not flee from a battle deciding to fight to the death if needed, this means that when morale is broken instead of preparing to flee, praetorian soldiers fight harder and with such courage that few enemies can stand against them for long (notice what happens while the conscripts in this video remain broken).
