To aim on sight press the walk button. The view is changing and the crosshair will disappear.

HOW TO PLAY
Simply collect all 5 parts of Medal of Honor: Blurred Remembrance from the download section here at Moddb. Extract them on your harddrive and use the setup to install Blurred Remembrance. While and after the complete install read all instructions carefully.
I tried to make it user-friendly.
Support:
Medal of Honor: Blurred Remembrance is just running on MS Windows 32 and 64 bit, it is developed on MS Windows XP SP3 and MS Windows 7 64bit.
Also you need to know that the game isn't running with INTEL graphic-cards because driver issues. However, Blurred Remembrance supports a resolution up to 720p and 1080p (1440 x 1080p -- 4:3 only).
The game will start in resolution mode 1440 x 1080p (fhd) by default, so you need to set your resolution via the Medal of Honor: Blurred Remembrance setup.
READ THE WALKTHROUGH FOR MAP/GAMECRASHES
Why standalone?
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is not separately modifiable such as Call of Duty. Modifications by
various authors were not compatible with each other, causing errors and glitches. This is the
reason why I made Blurred Remembrance a standalone conversion.
You will just be able to play the Medal of Honor: Blurred Remembrance conversions. To play the
original Medal of Honor: Allied Assault you need the original CDs.
Antivirus:
The installed runtime shortcuts (like MoH BR - _UNWRITTEN.exe) may cause some problems with
Antivirus Software. They are clean and you may exclude them from checking.

I've been waiting a long time for a mod like this. I've been playing this game since it came out and I never got tired of it. The only reason I quit playing it was because of newer incompatible hardware. But now with this, I'm definitely going to find a way to get it to work again. Thank you for putting your time into one of my favorite games of all time.

Game crashes whenever I try to launch the campaign. Any suggestions? AMD video card, i5 processor, Windows 7 64-bit

My first opinion is, you didnt setup the resolution and didnt read the instructions of mohbr setup. Your game is starting 1080p by default and cant be rendered by your machine. Am I right?
Nope, I have my screen rendering at full 1920x1080 HD. It gets to the main menu, I can load boot camp, but the second I get a weapon in my hands, it crashes.
Same issue here.
Did the setup, can get into the game at 1920x1080 no problem. Boot camp works for a few minutes then it crashes. Some of the mods work until I try to use a weapon and then it crashes. Campaign (all games) crashes when it finishes loading the first map.
Tried various fixes such as OpenGl, DXJune2010 etc. Nothing works.
Are you playing on a laptop or an intel graphic-card? This failure appears with my laptop, MOHAA couldnt find the graphic-card. You need to set your nvidia or ati to the main renderer for the game.
1. check the walkthrough in the BR Documents again.
2. change the command via console: r_ext_compressed_textures to 0
tell me if something is working and your hardwarespecs.
general_green, could you try out your config from your working mohaa? copy paste the config in the mohbr _custom configs.
Copied the config from MOHAA to Blurred Remembrance, still crashes the same way. I am running a desktop, i5 processor, AMD Radeon 6900 seires video card, dedicated, so no chance of an Intel card messing things up.
i dont understand this problem. mohaa & mohbr are the same games, just mod differencies. Its about the settings (config).
Please general, you have both copies installed? Can you copy the files in main folder of mohaa (.exe + .dll files of MOHAA folder, without main and mss folders to copy) over mohbr (_mohbr_unwritten, override existing files).
I will check this step by my self. Its weird on my laptop Call of Duty 1 is running and mohaa/br not causing the same crash.
I think it could have to do with the New Omega Drivers (well they are actually no omega drivers, but that is what amd now calls them. I had lots of troubles with AMD drivers recently, so I thought maybe somone else has the same problem.
I was also thinking if the game really crashes only the moment they pickup weapon it could also be a tiki problem, but I consider a texture problem to be more likley, to large textures should be able crash the game.
Do I need the actual game?
This mod is standalone according to the description, so no I don't think you do need the actual game.

Mine is not working. Its the GL error like the resolution is wrong. but I cant start it in safe mode, because it asks for a disk.
2003. Seeing my dad, a 90's war vet come home and install it, then barely let us play from how much he enjoys it himself. He really loves the Omaha beach level out of all.

The 5 zip files posted above all have 1 BIN file, and I can't open any of them...
did you try to mount them using a mounting tool?
I think I tried that already. Nothing seems to open the bin files.
By the way, why not package the game in an actual installer like an .msi or .exe file? Less tech-savy computer users will be unable to play this promising game.

what are you talking about ? There`s a .exe file in part 5 , when you extract everything in one place , you click to it and install ! Watch out for the antivirus , if you did not see it then you need to re-download the part 5 ! By the way , tell me if you can play , i can`t play this mod , everytime i lauch a map it crashed

Does not work at all for me. Even some of the shortcuts in the menu are broken. Reinstalling did not help anything. If I want to play any part of the mod, it tells me it can not find MOHAA.exe though it is in the folder that it was installed in. MOHAA-Configure.exe brings an error. When I click on configure in the menu it does not find any of the configuration files though they are there.
This mod is not playable at the moment. :(

Sorry, I don't know what to do in the setup .txt... should I remove the "//" to activate one of the parameters? or add "/" to the ones I'm not using? what am I missing here?
Same problem here as many others.
I have a HD monitor with native res of 1920x1080
So I leave the configs alone and save them EXACTLY per instructions.
Then try to launch, but no dice, I get that stupid yellow window up nagging about saving the god forsaken cfg`s every damn time.
I downloaded and installed anew just to make sure, still no dice.
I dont want to sound ungrateful, if this MASSIVE undertaking had born fruits I would not be typing anything at all.
I will simply say it as is:
Most of us dont understand anything about the Configs, we didnt download this to sit and glare at documents and wrap our heads around ini`s for hours on end.
Maybe your next version will work without requiring the user to reprogram the entire game and them configs etc :D
