The Mechanical mod is about a world full of intrigue. A bustling metropolis is the background for a group of characters and creatures.
In single player, the player has the ability to play many characters in a futuristic world. You play the leading rolls, as they work together to stop whatever evil that’s spreading through the planet. The role of the game player is to use the abilities of the heroes, but first you’ll have to discover who the characters are and what they do. There will be character bios on the main site and inside the game.

I think the multiplayer "might" be easier to start with in this game. But I could be wrong, really we just have to make the game to find out. I’ll have information about the multiplayer on the website. It sounds really COOL to me so I bet you'll find it cool too!
Anyways if you like this project you can help, by working with the illustration of creatures and even the people that inhabit this mod. This is also a mod about mechanical fantasy, things like sunglasses, jet packs, and special types of plated armor, and most importantly shields. Nothing too medieval looking, I’m thinking future realistic things. Of course this story would not be complete without some large "programmed" robots. Anyways enough of this overview.

A Player can order repairs to equipment, and buy weapons. When in the field you pick weapons up from a drop point. This sometimes creates an inconvenience for the player. Players can make repairs to anything that your character understands, or you can have it repaired for you.
The "mainframe structure", is a web of information that repairs parts, it evolves and gets stronger, much like a monster. The highlight of multi-player becomes the interaction of the team with the mainframe. The other team is changing the system and you undo their changes. If you have the right skill you can change the other teams goals, or you can bypass the system by making your own base strong enough. Making a base stronger takes lots of effort to grab resources on the field, and utilizing time with the mainframe to do this task. As the field evolves you can also protect your location, strengthen units, and destroy the field....
