We're back online, for Halflife 2

* It's strictly Halflife 2, HL1 doesnt have the capabilities as needed for the mod.

* Mech classes with certain abilities, like a scout can repair damaged mechs, and machinegunners can build ammo stations, and special weapons can build armories. Think of it being a combination of Natural Selection, desert combat, tfc, with a buttload of mechs.

* Dont be fooled, mech will have its own style of gameplay, In fact we're gunning for MECH:BA to be a sort of pioneer in waging online wars. Think of 50 player teams, building up their armies, and decimating the other side to almost nothing, but then they build back up, launch a nuclear strike whiping out some of the mech factories on the first side, leveled playing feild, and come back to win. That would take hours, maybe even days. THIS is what we're striving for. All your stats will be stored serverside, including but not limited to; your side, your mech class, your kills-death ratio, accesories and abilities you had and ect. This way you can wage war on the digital front for a while, let your comrads on their own to sleep or do whatever, then you can come right back to where you were to finish what you started. We want you to feel like it's an epic war, not a meaningless battle.

*Everything else is really in the concept stage because of moving to halflife two, we've opened up a vast assortment of possibilites that HL1 just doesnt have. Please check our forums regularly for updates real models for the mod soon.

I like the cockpit, it reminds me of MechWarrior 2 cockpits, and those were cool.
But I can't help but laugh at your name.
"Mech : Battle Assault"? It's funny, because... just... "BATTLE ASSAULT"? But seriously, it seems cool.

Appologies for it appearing that the mod is dead, it's not, it's just in a cryogenic chamber. i have big plans for it i just have other things to worry about right now.

Hey all, WE HAVE A SET CODER NOW, Rammstein, one of the DOD coders is back on the team. We've set up forums, and will post any progress for it there. I'm still waiting on some of my concepts to come in to work on the models. The alpha models will not be used, in fact i might just make a little DM mech mod with those for fun, but they wont be used for mech:BA anymore. Here's some of the new features/ideas:

our coder has decided that Halflife code is horrible... and had told me he was going to make it a stand alone game. I havent heard from him since. I've been trying to teach myself coding so this will hopefully still develop. Give me some time, and durring the summer i should have a beta out. Thank's for your patients.
