Also I have been playing the Mass effect series from start to finish over these holidays cause i'm sad like that, but I noticed that in the first game they mentioned that the Alliance was unique for creating 'fighter carriers', so I was wondering if they would be the only race to get them or if they get a special boost to one?

I also hope that Carriers are unique to the Systems Alliance. They're one of the innovations that the humans brought to the galactic stage, and one of the methods they used to circumvent the Dreadnought cap placed upon them by the Treaty of Farixen.

Cerberus also has advanced fighter squadrons so I assume they will at least have them on capital ships
