The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

I personally think you should just remove the rock portions and have it be a flying cylinder similar to the occulus interceptor. Having at least one ship with this description would be nice.

It would also give a distinctive reaper look and feel that wasn't just another cuttlefish design (not that I don't love cuttlefish :)

It would be more nicer/logical if this thing had a Big*ss laser/thranix cannon rather then Mass accelerators to glass surface targets.

I think the Thanix is more of anti-ship weapon rather than an area effect weapon. It's essentially a souped up Mass Accelerator that fires molten metal which due to it's intense heat is better at taking down kinetic barriers, but probably conveys less kinetic energy.

Here are a few comparisons: the Thanix is like a anti-ship torpedo and more traditional slug throwing Mass Accelerators are HE rounds from a 16-inch gun; the Thanix is a bunker buster, M.A.s are MOABs; shaped charges and anti-personnel mines; precision bombing and carpet bombing; anti-tank guns and howitzers.

Yes the Thanix has less destructive capabilities and that's precisely why the reapers should use them. MA devastate planets and leave long lasting scars, and reapers don't want that. They want to keep the planets intact for the next cycle and surely dont want them to suspect anything. The Thanix on the other hand dose pinpoint devastating damage, thereby leaves less evidence and cause less damage to the planets.

That's a good point you have there.

but they do want evidence, as it allows the species to get technology from the paths the reapers desire.

Yes but they plant them in specific location in order to give the next cycle easy access. And also, they want the cycle believe that the galaxy a perfectly safe place so they won't spend too much time in military buildup. And the evidence of a big fu**ing galactic war sure won't help them archiving that goal.

Indeed, Finding a gigantic hole cracked in a planet from a Mass Accelerator round is not the way for the galaxy to "develop technology along the paths the reapers desire."

I rly like these ships, but I must ask. Is there going to be more geth?

I wish the number of collector ships was seriously toned down. I mean two or three was fine but we're at like five or six and the collectors are supposed to be gone and there was only supposed to be one ship in the entire ME universe. We need more reapers and more Geth.

I don't think your question is valid? First of all, I would most likely not be posting here if I didn't have Sins and if I have sins I'd more than likely be aware that it is an RTS.

However, most importantly of all... How the hell does that question have anything to do with my the preference I stated. I simply wished to share my opinion.

See their where more collectors and ships, its just in the game and prolly the books. We did not get to know about alot of it for the reason they where not needed at those times. Therefor, what you said about the collector's is mute. Sorry man, but you do need to think "outside the box."

No the Collectors were destroyed in the end of ME2 and this mod is supposed to take place during ME3. I am fine having the collector cruiser put in for fun factor but adding other collector ships starts to push the limit. This should be about the Council fighting the Reapers and I know that it is but I personally would like to see it be more focused on the enemies we see in ME3 (reapers, cerberus and geth)

I have no problem if others disagree but do not insult me because my opinion is different from yours.

Actually you're quite wrong on that count. There were more Collector ships than the one in ME2. James confirms this in one of his conversations.

Keep in mind that the geth really just used one design just on much different scales. Basically they had small wasps (fighters and dropships) medium wasps (frigates and destroyers) and big wasps (cruisers, dreadnaughts, and carriers)

Description

One of the last collector ships in the Reaper Fleet, this sucker is equipped with mass accelerators rather than particle weapons. Its sole purpose orbital bombardment. Enjoy. Designed by KaptenHaddock.
