The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.
So in an effort to finish Cerberus i have been attempting variations and ideas to fill in the final ranks so i can write cerberus off in terms of assets. This is the Cerberus Fighter Frigate, meant to be Cerberus' solution to the N7 frigate carrier will contain 2-3 wings of fighters at the expense of no real offensive weapons.
I still would put some limited AA batteries on it. Just to give it some form of protection against any enemy strikecraft, also, so that way the ship doesn't get stuck hanging out in the rear of the grav well only to get picked off by an enemy player making a lucky jump to that planet to kill the carriers off then run away like the pain in the *** he is... if this sounds like a bit too detailed of an example it's because it happened to me in vanilla sins so many damn times and it's annoying as hell to watch the A.I do it too.
Not a bad model Set, looks a lot like the capital carrier model though. Maybe try some variation in the model, some plates or segments to loosen up the model. Also, something for your renders. Try not to render on a white background, it just doesn't look good especially with a light grey model.
I like it :) although, It seems that it's a bit thin for a carrier, dunno, I just think it would look interesting (not that it isn't) if it were wider, the idea for something like even just a flak ability (like the KOL) sounds good too
just a thought, love it either way
maybe extend it downwards to show the extra hangers required of a carrier ship.
I really can't wait for the release :'(
me gusta
So, if it's not too stupid to ask, what's the difference between this and the Cerberus Carrier image a few slates back? (Apart from visually, I mean.)
one is the capship carrier and this one is the cruiser/frigate carrier, like what vanilla sins does
Lol, Right, of course. I did briefly think that, but didn't stick in my mind. Obviously my brain was somewhere else :/
