Where are the hangers on the ship? Also, what lighting do you use for your renders Set? They always looks good.
The hanger should run down the middle or many small ones on the side. The codex said that they can rearm fighter during battle but a round could get through to the weak interior and gut the ship. So i would assume down the length of the ship since than a round down the gullet would get right to the juicy center.

With our recent "improvements" to key designers and engineers, we are able to work on projects like this one 24 hours a day. Our fleet grows, and we will soon be able to control not only the reaper threat, but also threats from non-humans.
