The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

Meh, the Reapers will no longer excist when I fly my Cerberus fleet to them. They'll commit suicide just by the sight of the paint job. The guns will make a great firework light-show.

Rough outline? This looks as good as a finished product to me already. Scared to think how much better it'll look completely finished. You never cease to amaze me. And I must say that I agree with Lockerd, it will be sad to be destroying these things by the thousands. Ah well explosions are pretty too.

I'm wondering about the name, why are you calling this a battleship and not a dreadnought? Is it going the be the best of the cruiser category ships in sins? I ask because it looks big and tough enough to slug it out with a dreadnought any day.

dreadnoughts and battleships are one and the same, only difference is their size, Battleships are slightly smaller than dreadnoughts.

essentially Dreadnought is just the british word for Battleship, since their Flagship in WW2 was named Dreadnought and it had huge guns, the americans just called it a battleship is all.

Sorry about this but some of what you have said is wrong, HMS Dreadnought served only as the Flagship in WW1, a Dreadnought is a type of Battleship that carried only long range weapons, as you have said, however America also had their own Dreadnoughts and Super-Dreadnoughts, but all Battleships constructed after 1919 shared some of "Dreadnought" characteristics due to the Washington Naval Treaty which limited the number of battleships built by those who signed it.

I use it to describe the class under an Dreadnought.

So it will be less powerful than the dreadnoughts, but will it be a capital level ship in sins or regular?

Its a cap ship, and its slightly less powerful than a dread with different abilities.

Looks great, Lord_Set, do appreciate how similar to Alliance ships the designs are, while still maintaining their own distinct personalities.
Will any of the Alliance or Cerberus ships have any obvious small gun mounts, either in the textures or physically on the model? I notice in the few fleet battles, small guns are woefully under-represented, while the codex for the series often seemed to mention small guns.

Small guns as that create extra polies which a lot of these models cant afford. The reapers are getting most of the detail or resource space allocated because its hard to dull down the designs. It would be great to add the small canons but from a resource standpoint it uses a lot of space quick

SoaSE doesn't have turrets that move anyways, to my knowledge, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal anyways.

Done to Cerberus spec, still have details to add. This is the rough outline though.
