The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.
Category 6 is a mercenary organisation consisting primarily of dishonorably discharged Systems Alliance soldiers. CAT6 personnel are notorious for their histories of criminal activity and their illegal steroid abuse addictions.
Like most of their warships, the CAT6 Claymore Dreadnought was an under the table deal with Cerberus Skunkworks. Not being restricted by Citadel legality, CAT6 have outfitted their dreadnoughts main gun with several heat sinks, allowing them to "Overclock" the main accelerator.
Being operated by a mostly skeleton crew, the Claymore has automated the vast majority of its defensive and offensive combat systems. This is on top of Skunkworks replacing a number of escape pods with a verity of classified weapon systems.

because who needs escape pods if you can shoot yourself to safety? ^^
Well.....the Titanic wouldn't have sunk if it shot the iceberg with a big gun......
there is no problem that cant be solved with enough explosives.
or a simply well placed shot with a calibrated gun from a distance.
I like how it is not just a simple reskin anymore!
That’s what we’re hoping to achieve with factions that share the same ships. The previous release had allot of reskins so we are not only cutting down on redundant ships, but we’re also trying to make each one as unique as possible !
How many massive combat vessels outside the Systems Alliance exist out there? The Cerberous Fleet in ME3 was a stretch for me already...
Way ahead of you. Unlike the previous release where almost every faction had an Everest, the only groups who will have one now are The Alliance, Cerberus, and CAT6. With the Alliance having significantly more than Cerberus and CAT6 combined
I assume you mean Everest-variants or just big-assed dreadnoughts in general?
It depends on the race of the dreadnought. For example, Human dreadnoughts (being less plentiful than turians and Asari) will be used extremely sparingly by a select few factions.
