Description
Little known fact, Quarian frigates are decommissioned Batarian vessels sold to the Quarians. Batarians do not sell military vessels to other races due to matters of security. This is the Batarian Dreadnought. Flagship of the Batarian fleet. Its the greatest piece of Batarian technology. This will be the paragon capital ship option for the Council as well as a few other Batarian ships soon to come.
Thats the best looking bit of anything Batarian made I've ever seen, wow. Wicked looking model.
Little known fact, Batarians with glasses are called Oct-eyes.

If you read the codex the quarians buy their ships from Batarians.
Nice model! I do think it should be the aquarian ship though, as in the mass effect art book. Codex states that they sometimes bought vessels from other cultures but mainly modified their own.
Question: What made you choose this as the Paragon capital ship for the council?
As far as I'm aware, Batarians are not a part of the council, are hostile to the systems alliance, have sanctions imposed on their government by the council, and have mostly isolated themselves from other species.
Batarians are a war asset option if you play your cards right in ME3 we are doing something along those lines

Great model, but I also think this should be a renegade flagship, as relying on batarian aid is quite unorthodox for the council.
Why not make the Destiny Ascension the paragon flagship?
This is not the flagship, this is optional capital ship added in rebellion that changes with faction choice. For paragon it will be Batarian ships for Renegade it will be Geth.
My mistake. It makes much more sense now if the renegade option are Geth
I feel like it should be the other way around. Getting the quarians and geth to cooperate is such a long effort in hand-holding, and insistence on peace and forgiveness between the two bitter rivals. Given that, and the fact that some batarian military officers are known terrorists, makes an alliance with them seem more renegade-ey than an alliance with the geth.
Thats a very good point, ill keep that in mind.
What role will that cap serve.To me it looks like a siege capital.

I couldn't imagine Batarians could make so nice ships.
