The Titanic Mod brings people at one of the most detailed and accurate free 3D recreations of the Titanic ever made. It puts the player in a whole new storyline for the game Mafia.
Something slightly off topic but what I want to show.
This week a piece of wooden moulding from the RMS Olympic herself arrived at my home. It gives you an idea of what kind of fanatic I am to the Olympic class ships. :)
As much as I love to use actual parts from Olympic as textures, I might try to turn this piece into a decent texture for the MTM.
Behind the white paint is a slight green shade visible which might suggest this piece was used on the GSC*. Or maybe it's even from the room I just finished!? who knows :). The fact that it's over a century old, made by the same hands that built Titanic, and coming from the "Old Reliant" herself just makes it awesome.
*(Olympic's Grand Staircase was painted green after her later refit)

I bought it from a person of www.whitestarmemories.co.uk
He had a few pieces of Olympic like mouldings and paneling laying in the warehouse and offered them for sale on a Facebook group.
Knowing about the rare oppertunity I got I didn't need to think long about it to decide to purchase a piece.

You learned modelling only for this project and you've gotten so much better at it over the years and now your work is so impressive... Barely anyone is really able to handle all that - I'm happy for you man, keep it up
