It's approximately a hundred years from now... The aftermath of the Third World War. Countries all over the world are suffering an economic crisis which has led to a dramatic food and water shortage. The countries that do have enough resources are under martial law, food and water are not being divided equally, consequently civil war has broken out.

this looks like you use a whole new engine it is very nice or you are just super good XD
kinda bad lighting on this shot. the dark areas is kinda flooding the whole sceene. maybe a small ambient light would fix this to kinda take the dark tone from the textures down a bit. beacuse now it just looks extreme.
it might also be the image compression that play a part in this, i dont know. but i liked the other shot much better.
This is just a photo from ingame. You can't be sure about how the lights really are. Screenshots can be pretty misleading (to bad or to good).

All lighting that you see in the ingame screens, is purely the sun lighting the scene.
Additional lights will be placed later on.

I like the ambience that the bright blue sky gives, combined with the darker buildings.
Really seems like your 'in' the streets, as it's own, shadowy, environment. This matches your concept well imo
