It's approximately a hundred years from now... the aftermath of the Third World War.
Countries all over the world are suffering an economic crisis which has led to a dramatic food and water shortage. The countries that do have enough resources are under martial law, food and water are not being divided equally, consequently civil war has broken out.
Your country, China, has fallen under a military regime that is trying to bring China back to order by joining the World Union (WU). Joining the WU offers China a chance to resolve it's financial problems, securing it's position internationally.
The regime has began exporting large amounts of China’s resources, trading with the WU for military supplies to support the oppression of the civilians.
A large portion of the population disagrees with China joining the WU and with the export of China's resources. This has led to the formation of rebel groups who try to fight off the military regime.
The rebels are considered terrorists by the WU, who have ordered China to get rid of all resisting forces before they are allowed to join them.
With support from the WU, the regime evacuates the larger cities where most rebels are situated. Afterwards, they send in special forces to sweep the evacuated areas, killing those who stayed behind...

After switching to the Orange Box engine, we decided to show you guys how things are currently looking.
Head over to the Image Gallery to check out the level rendered in HDR.
Ofcourse, the level is still a work in progress, and our (very) small team is working hard on getting more content in the game.
More information about the mod will be released in a later stage of development.

How have I not heard anything about this mod! It's absolutely incredible and is a direct slap in the face for Nuclear Dawn, although this is only single player!
Either way! Keep up the incredible work!
Wow guys, thanks for all the great comments! : )
A new media release is on the horizon. Stay tuned.
I understand you will need dramatic voice work for this mod. I am aspiring to become a professional voice actor and it would be a privilege to audition for a part in this project. Please PM me when you decide to hold auditions, or if you would like me to send you a character demo.
Could you please make a little demo, i just want to taste the flavour of the atmosphere :-D
it looks so damn pretty ... can´t wait for it ^^
um wahts the date of release gonna be or just a guess on the release date like what it could be?
With these mapping skills you should work for valve.
looks good there.keep it up.and dont YOU DARE TO SCREW THIS UP.thx
Norton2, it's odd, isn't it, how the developers themselves don't seem to mind the comments. Well, I think it's great that they have you here to tell them what to do and think. I'm sure that a talent like that will get you very far in life.
Anyhow, developers. This mod looks insanely good (From a mapping perspective anyway, thus far. But, yeah, if you prefer to perfect the content, instead of showing it off in a unfinished state, that's fine for me. At least you guys took time to reply and explain your viewpoint), and if you make it work (Which a certain user expressed concerns of the difficulties associated with this level of detail), it will be AMAZING.
I hope you the best of luck, and I'll be sure to be one of the first in line to play this on release.
thanks for your support,
we are going to take it slow with the media releases for now, but as soon as we have a load of media, we'll try to keep our modpage updated with frequent releases(can't tell you yet exactly how frequent ;D).
Hey man, I was just curious on what was going on with the mod. Also what I thought or predicted, I only used what little information this mod had to contribute to actually make the predictions. So no, our comments aren't crap and they matter the Development Team of this mod. I mean why do we have comments in the first place? To get someone else's opinions of course!
