A small article that tells us about the hanging physics lamps, projectors and cameras in the game. (article from 09.26.2008)

Sorry for the old article, but since we created the profile now, we thought its important to post it here. (it was never posted to public before, only the videos)

Hanging Lamps:

The physics hanging lamps were removed from game. Maybe you still remember the old videos, where they shot the lamp and it started to move with the light source.

We would like to representate that cutout feature for you. In the following short video you will see, that its possible to remake.

Projectors:

The projectors were controlled by npc with ai scheme script. Also the projector was animated with 20-30' angle (mostly left-to-right movement with spotlight)

Cameras:

Cameras were used for security purposes. Now they are returned to the game.

with the hanging lamp panels... is it possible to shoot one of chains/cables, so that its only hanging on one of them and lighting the side walls?
can you make it like that?
like in the old behind the game videos... you know what i mean?

Well how will this work anyway ?

if this will add those things and maps and all fetures, are actually added/replaing default of SOC, I could just play it as hugely extended shadow of chernobil, yes?

this will still be gamedata and maybe some dlls in bin, right?

@dezodor, the thing with the hanging lamps is the best and most impressive thing for me in STALKER. Really, thank you for this! I can't wait for the mod.
