I like the idea. Kinda reminds me of Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazzard. I'm really looking forward to this mod. I hope that you realize all the possibilities of a "broken video game." (like the walls start to flicker and show the polygons, impossible happenings, etc.) That would be so awesome!
P.S. If you want any help I would be happy to volunteer for mapping, and prop modeling! You can see some renders of my [incomplete] work on my mod page!
