Apartments effectively replaces castles and towns as your base of operations. You'll need one to host feasts and to get married, for example.
'Replaces'? So do you mean we cannot conquer cities like Paris and London, or take over fortifications and be awarded them?
I think for wedding (at least) you should have a church. Even Napoleon crowned himself in a church....
I think he meant that you have to own a home to build up a family (marriage), I believe that there'll be church in cities where the actual marriage happen, just that we would not 'own' a church.
Will we not be able to take over city's , wont there be Townhalls or Royal courts ?
It doesn't make sense if you as a major would control several larger cities and forts. Apartments in different cities sounds more reasonable for an officer.
I understand this, but fortifications still required commanders, right? As for cities, I am curious as to whether the monarch will reside there and, if the city falls, they will move to another residence. I hope I'm making sense. >.<
