L'Aigle is a singleplayer total-conversion mod for Mount & Blade: Warband. Set during the Napoleonic Wars, L'Aigle will recreate the age of blackpowder warfare.
first i thought the kilts from a bit distance is a bit to blurred, the texture of the kilt isn't sharp enough. They just like look they are black. Then I remebered why the 82:nd was called the Black Watch...
And they didn't wear black kilts. Those are not even Black Watch I think. It doesn't look like the 42nd tartan. It's blurry because it's still a work in progress and he is making new textures. There is also a lot of musket smoke in the air.
That is the Royal Highland Regiment, also known as the 42nd. That is Black Watch tartan, I'm from Argyll myself and have a Campbell kilt witch is the same.
I swear on my life I've seen pictures of the Black Watch wearing lighter more green and blue tartans. I did see the next picture where they are wearing the number 42 on their backpacks. But hey, can't argue with someone with the experience. Want to trade countries? I have to go to Scotland. I'm a Mackenzie myself.
Textures in this mod are really awsome !

Textures are amazing
I love this quality so much. Good luck with development!
Whoa, tell those guys in front to be careful with the kilts. Let's keep it G-rated :p
May I ask why there is no Sporran, Were they not worn with the campaign dress of the 42nd?
I'm pretty sure it's not the 42nd. He doesn't specifically say the 42nd and the tartan is different from the 42nd.
No choice now I MUST HAVE THIS MOD :)
