About the mod:
After i first played the game, I decided to improve the graphics of this game, because I really like playing KotOR and the gameplay, but the, for our time now, bad graphics often prevented me from playing it.
So this modification improves all the graphics in-game, by replacing all textures, models and effects and so on.
Also the Cutscenes and Videos will be completely remade.
finally, when i´ve finished all the graphics, I may add some new Items, edit the balance(only if needed) or I even make new sounds and music for the game.

Compatability:
Up to now this mod runs fine on Windows Xp and Win 7(the game only runs with fix below). Mod is tested on linux aswell and works. Also it works fine with the downloadable Steam version of the game.

Hey guys,
as you may see i put up a few screens of Dantooine again and i also made the Sith emblem.
I´m really hard working to get the next update as soon as possible. I think it will be released in the middle/end of march.
This update 0.2 will contain the folling things:
- updated Dantooine textures
- updated Republic Cruiser textures
- updated and completed Taris textures(Sith- and Vulkarbase)
- full Korriban textures
- new lightsaber glows(i will make it choosable: Vanilla/modded)
for now this is it from me. I will put up some screens next time to keep you up to date.

i'm going to leave this comment here because i frankly don't know where to look for this:
does anybody know of a mod for kotor or kotor 2 that changes the game view to a stategy-type gameplay view like starcraft or diablo, while displaying the default game camera while in dialogues?

still looking awesome. it makes the game so much more replayable due to the better locations. i just want to explore every bit again and do all the sidequests just to see the glow of scenery :) keep it up

Hey man, this is great work!
I have a question: Do you intend to do character re-skins? I Can't find hd skins for the characters anywhere. And please, show the models some love! Models in this game are, in my opinion even worst than the textures.Also, they are pretty hard to come by.
I would like to see that too. There shouldn't be so many models, since most of the NPCs are clones of each other.

Well, it would seem that every time I install 0.2 it seriously messes with Dantooine's textures (most notably the grass textures0. If this mod ever reaches 1.0 stage, I will definitely try it out again. For now I am settling for Xarwarrz's texture mods as they are complete and I just want to play the game with better textures at this point. Though, I gotta say... I love the work so far, just don't want to fudge around with incomplete stuff at the moment.
