There's probably some mod run by friends of the moddb staff which is posting it's first Scribbles of concept art and deserves to take precidence over the publicly acclaimed mod I've been developing for over a year.

I'm as hyped for your mod as much as the next guy, but geez, calm down. I'm sure the staffer's weren't deliberately trying to sabotage your "publicly acclaimed mod"'s day of release. How dare they not drop everything and bow down before you in solemn prayer.

All i asked was that they approve the news so people who use moddb will know about the release.

Im not asking for the blood of a thousand virigns, buddy, it's a pretty simply request. It's never taken them this long to do when I have something as simple as a screenshot it usually goes up in seconds, so im a little frustrated from what appears to be neglecting this important news post.

Sorry about the long wait, the refusal then the long wait Mr.Kadish and Killing Floor fans. Some of the news authers haven't been around the site of late and as a direct result a backlog in news was created.

Thank you for abiding by the rules of front page news Mr.Kadish, and changing the file size of the image. We inforce this rule for the 56k'ers out there and to keep the front page nice and tidy, with perhaps somewhat uniform image dimentions.

Try this.

open up UT2004.ini in your UT2004\KFmod\System\ Directory

under

MainMenuClass=Kmod.KFMainMenu

change that to say

MainMenuClass=KGUI.KFMainMenu

save, and then give it a go.

I get the same error, and your suggestion doesn't fix it.

this mod needs serious fixing, it's great shit. But needs alot of fixing, especially on the gameplay. I'll just state a few here...
*You can't exit the boring non-audio dialogue cinematics.
*When you die, you don't have your previous weapon data saved.
*Multiplayer says i have to download "Killing floor Textures". Which I already have.
*And there is no save, or when you die, you can't hit fire to respawn at the last checkpoint.

My Apologies guys.

Some people on the forums are saying that THAT error is caused by not having an up to date version of UT2k4.

Go to epic's site and bring urself up to the most recent version, and you should be fine.

Sniper, the Downloading Textures issue is caused by two versions of the mod floating around the net.
Extreme Players was hosting an obsolete installer. Please check to see that you downloaded from the FILE FRONT mirror, as they were hosting the proper version.

The other errors you are getting suggest that you have downloaded the obsolete version of the mod with non-working save load data.

Please redownload the mod, and check the forums and website for more info

I wonder who made that super cool chair model for the labs. Haha :P
