Ok folks, the time is drawing near. With the full support of a truly devoted coder who not only gets things done quick, but is also active in suggesting ways to reshape the gameplay and mod itself, (and with my usual output of artistic offerings) Killing FLoor is more playable than it's ever been, and is a truly enjoyable game. Oh, and im talking about OFFLINE here, with some AI pals . I would imagine the multiplayer experience with friends would be considerably more engaging.
But enough pluggin'. It's time to come to some facts. The first of these, is that i am releasing a demo for the mod this friday (April 8th) and it is going to be a cut down version of what is in the full mod. It will have 3 weapons from the full mod, 2 zombie classes, and 1 map. All of this is going to be offline as well, so multiplay will not be an option at this time. (Dont freak, we just need to iron some things out and i'd prefer we did this before it was shown to the public). Things like ammo pickups and weapons will be simply collectable or outright given to the player on spawn in the DEMO, however a system of "purchase" will be implemented for the full version which we are still working on. Needless to say, at this rate the full thing should be ready to rock a few weeks after this, maybe a month at the outside.
I'd love to hear feedback in the forums, or whatever else you folks want to say. And hopefully you can contain yourselves until Friday! Don't come expecting the world , but expect to see something that you've never seen quite the likes of before.
