There's nothing quite like the rush of running, falling, jumping and crawling your way toward the release switch whilst under fire from rockets, railguns and lasers... then jabbing that switch and releasing all your team mates! Then finally watching as they all come running out of the open doors and beat the other team to death with Laser Cleavers! There's never a dull moment in JB, you're either fighting to stay alive, fighting to release your team mates, or fighting to escape from jail!
Jailbreak: The Countdown Begins!
Today we begin the final countdown to the release of Jailbreak 0.4! But! We're not going to tell you how long that is just yet, suffice to say, it won't be long!

Today we begin the final countdown to the release of Jailbreak 0.4! But! We're not going to tell you how long that is just yet, suffice to say, it won't be long!
To kick this off, we've released six pictures taken during the awesome beta test last night. Please be aware that the HUD is currently temporary and is being developed as we write!
The pictures show the newly updated Metropolis and three of the new weapons included in the next release: the Chaingun, The Combine SMG and The Laser Cleaver (plus a few more if you look hard!)! Stay tuned for more new pictures, weapons, models and features next week!

looks very nice. I was starting to fear the mod was dead but they managed to give it a great ressurection by adding weapons
Not just by adding weapons mate, the reason we have been so quiet since our last update is because Jailbreak has had pretty much a complete overhaul in terms of look and gameplay.
Glad people are digging it!

I don't mean to be a dick or anything... but how can you claim it's a countdown, when no one knows when it's due?
hehe :) Well, you have a point... We're starting the countdown now, as we are VERY close to releasing, but we've got some small elements to integrate still which could force the release to be up to two weeks later than we hope. We don't want to start an official countdown, then disappoint anyone by saying "sorry, two weeks longer!". Put it this way... We've got 8 maps to show off, and we may not show them all.
