Work has been going strongly on the mod. Unlike the previous updates, today's one will be focused more on the maps.
This is Barsa-Kelmes. It was an island back when the sea was full, and was known as an area full of paranormal activity. The helicopter pilot actually has to drop you off on the seabed, because his compass was going haywire the further you got in.
As you can see, the 3D skybox really helps get the grand scope of things.
Some of the indoor areas.
Drew Watts has been hard at work on some weapons! First is the MP-412. As a heavy revolver is proves the opposite of the lightweight Makarov.
Next is the OTs-14 Groza. Famous with special forces troops, this weapon is one of the few that is able to puncture the Spetsnaz body armour.
This here is the AK74 with a Kobra sight. In the video below, you can actually chose whatever goes on your gun.
Moving away from weapons, texture artist Splinter has been skinning the UAZ-469 that Tycho made a few years ago (wow). It's just a base for the moment, flags and other details will be added later.
Second lastly, we have the MIG-29 jet. You have probably seen this before, but it wasn't included in a media release so this is here to show you if you missed it.
Now FINALLY in this update we have 2 videos!
This one here is a fairly old video of the bunker gameplay. Don't bother criticising it because it looks alot different to how it does now, but I figured I'd share it with you guys.

And next is the attachment system. With this, you can customize your gun to however you see fit. Obviously in the final it will have a better menu, and a HUUUUGE range of options.

Our priorities are though.
- Dialogue/Story Writer
- 3D modeller (UWV skills necessary)
- Voice actors with Eastern European accents.

Those pictures and vids look absolutely fantastic.
Weapon attachments seems to be working far better than anything I've ever seen or expected of the source engine.

Looks like you've got some great gameplay elements there. The atmosphere added from the radio and sound effects are a fantastic touch.

Hmm I could make some voice acting. I'm from Poland so I think I could have the right accent. Sure its not like Russian but still, I think it could be pretty similar.

The bunker video was bloody scary. Been playing the latest Stalker game recently so I'm still in the mood for some spooky Soviet action. Good luck finding the help you need :D
Metro 2033 anyone? Bunker gameplay video has nice creepy atmosphere and audios sounds good so far. Weapon customization is kinda rare in HL2 mods so BIG plus for that!

This is coming along great. The attachment system is alot like Crysis', and the models for the new weps look great. As for the alpha bunker level, it was overall pretty good. The screams at the end were pretty creepy, and so was the radio (6-1-7?)

but question. since there is a silencer, does the AI track down by sound as well, i.e Crysis like?
Is that a numbers station playing in the bunker?

What's a western european accent?
If you want UI attachment options to follow their attachment area on the model like in crysis you could just use world->screenspace on that attachment to position the UI element in roughly the correct place on the screen.
I don't know the exact name of the world->screenspace function but it definitely exist, and I used it for some hudwork back in the day :)
