International Online Soccer : Source and the Electronic Football Association are proud to announce the start of the first league for IOS:Source (Half-Life 2).
The first EFA Season is almost upon us, and final preparations for the league have now begun. The fixture draw takes places on Sunday the 28th of December. The first gameweek starts on January 3rd and ends on the 10th of January. Visit the league website here: Efa-ios.net

This game is NOT dead, like some people may think.
Public has been more popular recently, and as it's summer I can see more people playing it more often. Now would be a pretty good time to start if you haven't already, as new people seem to keep popping up on public servers and on IRC.
If you can't seem to find anyone on the servers, don't just give up on the game, jump on quakenet on IRC, join #ios and #ios.mix and say hi.

hello! we are trying to advertise the new look and feel of the game. Bassiclly if any of you have dreamt of playing for top clubs and international teams now you can! with an active community we are in need of more players to take part in proper matches and join in with an already big community. This mod is a follow up of the Halflife1 version in which it had won sports mod of the year several years running the source version needs the active players to make this game good! so we need you. Get the game download and join in with the fun!

Ya, was fun, but nowdays no one plays.
people who wanna try this mod should go to irc (quakenet) in channel #ios.mix , most people are there and there u can get into mixed matches because yes, public is really empty atm :(

new patch 1.0c changed much, ppl should try the game now again, the dribbling is more like in ios beta 4 now and there are many bug fixes that ppl annoyed
the mod is just really fun, a great time all around... another mod i wish would be updated by steam
