In The Admiral's Service: Ultimate Showdown was initially planned for Starcraft 2, but as Blizzard continually shut out modders, I looked for greener pastures. Supreme Commander seems quite inviting for a total conversion intending to change the game into a giant fleet battle game of biblical proportions, so let's give it a shot, yes?
This video demonstrations the League of Lawyer's Judginator-class supership with about 25% of its weapons versus several conceptual Undead vessels.
Things to note about this video;
- NOTHING IS REMOTELY COMPLETE. The Undead lack projectiles, they flail around too much, and the Judginator is missing more then half of its weapons.
- Projectiles are currently unedited and require aerial hit effects + lack of gravity.
- There is no balance yet.
- Scales may be reduced further. Elevations may be reduced. This would be to help reduce the need for zooming the camera in and out so much.
Basically this is just to watch pretty lights and see some of the units in the game currently. You will see the following ships,
Undead Gygias x2 with 2 cannons using placeholder projectiles.
Undead Hydra x1 with placeholder weapon.
Undead Artemes x1 with placeholder weapons.
Lawyer Judginator x1 with semi-functional forward weaponry including Railgun. (Watch it rip off life when it fires!)
I am releasing this now to give those watching this video some note that this is actually being worked on. I previously intended it to be CC exclusive but no one ever goes there so eh.
