Description
This is a preview of a soon to be released version of the mod.
It is now in the final testing phase.
I should add that version 1.2 will be savegame compatible

As for actual comments: this looks amazing, great work. Im little curious about where this was taken. Looks like somewhere in Yanov.
And is that a camo pattern on that AN-94?

The Abakan that is shown here has alot of corrosion on it (ver. 1.2 retexture)
How is corrosion being added, exactly?
It is a new texture skin for that specific weapon. Found it to be fidding with the zone environment

Wait do you mean that ALL Russian weapons have corrosion or only some that you will be picking up? Cause its gonna **** me off if you stereotype that most Russian weapons rust. I can see reason if you want to say for example that a weapon that would be lying around in the Zone can accumulate rust since it has no upkeep but to see a Spetsnaz soldier with a rusty weapon would be complete and utter BULLSH1T!! So please clarify! :0

I had to make distinctions between eastern and western weapons.
In this mod the eastern weapon types are the most corroted ones but thay all are to some extend. My earlier post actually said that western weapons requires more maintaining to function properly compared to eastern weapons.
In my oppinion this doesn't make the russian weapons any weaker.
I know a bit about this matter, being a nato soldier.
I did however make the unique russian weapons with a pretty clean texture keeping in mind that they were well maintained by veretan stalkers who does care alot about maintaining their gear.
honestly the rusty weapons look ******* retarded in the zone im sure they could trade and artifact to the russian gov. for a brand new box of ak 74s

Soviet weapons are my favourite and they seem to suffer the most.
That AN-94 looks weird with those corrosion stains. Did you know that the AN-94's receiver is entirely made of fiberglass reinforced polyamide, a type of polymer? It doesn't "corrode" with wear or mistreatment. Yeah, it may get stained with blood, mud, sh!t and other external filth, but it doesn't rust.
