A completely new way of playing Blood, it will follow two characters with
two different storylines and two different ways of playing. The game will
feature all of EDGE's features, especially 3d models and dynamic lighting. Unlike
Transfusion, Hypertension will blend the original sprites, new
graphics, and the 3d models (as well as a significantly darker world) to
bring a new visual splatterfest to the game. It will make use of a creepy graphic
novel style as the storyline unfolds. No multiplayer but it will arrive on
the Dreamcast as well to make the experience available for more people.
The game will be completed "When It's Done", although several alphas will
come out in the time span. New sound effects, new musical scores, better
levels, a chilling story, and voice acting will all round out the package
(including some new exclusive features).

In the meantime, make sure to check out "ZBlood", a mod for Zdoom that
takes the Blood experience to another level, and "Transfusion", a similar
effort but for the Quake engine.
