HydraMod is a singleplayer mod experience which aims to provide new content to the Half-Life 2 game to create a new interesting experience. The focus of the mod is the Hydra. The experience is expected to span over 13-15 different custom maps. You are a young combine recruit for the Combine Marine Division which has been sent to a sea lab somewhere in the deep Atlantic Ocean. They have been having problems with security and asked for more security patrols. Little did they know the Genroaches stored there were planning to usurp their captors and free the xen life forms from bondage.

can you maybe relese whats done if not maybe the code for the hydra(and maybe models for other mods(like obsiden conflict it has a hydra but the mod has no model and the npc dont work)
well i guess the video is NO excuse because i saw the video about 1 year ago...it contained the fight against a hydra AND a fight against some houndeyes !! i just can say that i saw it on a french page ! but i think the mod is dead.... SO PLEASE TELL US IF THE MOD IS DEAD AND IF IT'S DEAD RELEASE WHAT YOU GOT !
i think him saying hes gona make a video was a excuse for it being dead it has the words written all over it

Is the Hydra mod in the works anymore?
Instead of me map making, wich I don't do anymore, I am thinking of making a Movie about the Hydra. It will take a lot of work but i'm willing to put it my time and effort to make everyone a movie about it. The teaser is in progress still. I'm trying to get the creator to send some clips of it and some pictures of it as well. If anyone wants more information about the teaser/trailer/movie please contact me at aaron@tinkertoys.net. Anyway, im just wondering, why dont you make the mod with small map, then later release map packs for the real story, that way the community wont die.
