Born of a dissatisfaction with Homeworld 2, the Homeworld:@ team is building upon the foundations of Homeworld and Homeworld:Cataclysm to create a faithful sequel in the Homeworld:2 engine, with new ships, storyline, and game mechanics.

New team members, new ships, and new art for Homeworld:@!

It looks as though I've been neglecting to update this page. I shall try to stay more on the ball in the future. But the advantage of a long wait is more news to share!

First I'd like to announce the arrival of Adhira to the team, who has done what I could not and battered animations into submissions. Future releases will include more advanced animations as a consequence. As if that were not enough, he's stepped up to join our ranks of modelers, and is currently in the late stages of putting together our Kushan resource collector. In-progress pictures of said ship should be up shortly.

Next to announce is that our Ion Cannon Frigate is, save for the various touchups inherent in the polish stage, mesh complete and undergoing texturing. We've already played with preliminary in-game versions of it, and it's quite fun to have more of the delicious classic red ion beams in the game. I can't wait to get it into your hands. Pictures of the model will be going up shortly as well.

Third, and quite exciting, we have secured permission from two artists of the Relic News community to use concepts and models they've already created in the mod, and I'm quite hopeful that this relationship will bear fruit in the coming days.

As a reminder, we are still looking for anyone with mission editor experience, anyone who can model or texture or who wants to learn how to, and any voice actors that want to pitch in.
