The goal of this mod is to bring back the units from the original Homeworld into the Homeworld 2 engine, with high quality texture and polycount detail. The campaign and animatics from the original game will also be included.

The thruster and corvette docking pads are a bit odd, but I like it overall.

The original itself was a mite strange, as it was subject to terrible Kushan engineering for civilian ships... the refueling ports are on completely exposed sections of the ship, creating serious weak points for a ship of that size. If a well-aimed salvo of plasma bombs hit one of the plasma transferral nodes, then the reactors linked to that node would likely overload and destroy the ship, rather than the attack itself destroying the craft. But still, it's wonderful to see that you've kept to how it was created originally. Keeps true to the aim of the mod.

I don't think we were talking about the original design. I know I was talking about Jkberna's choice of modeling new details. If we were to nitpick, how does one explain the even worse design the Taiidan have? I've read the majority of the available cannon and production material and have seen nothing to indicate fuel transfer in HW1 is a critical weak point to be exploited by an opponent beyond the fact that externally docked strikecraft are sitting ducks. Why do you think plasma is transfered between fueling ship and strikecraft? Why wouldn't there be safeguards like blowout panels or other pressure release devices to prevent damage if the fuel in the line becomes dangerous? If you are right, why do strikecraft that explode while docked not cause damage to the fuel ship? If you know of some documentation I don't, please link to it.

This mod is still active? YES!! I just found it by accident and I was hoping it was not dead. I've been hoping someone would update the graphics to the best space RST of all time.

Description

The Kushan resource controller, it's a rather basic design, as any utilitarian ship should be, but i think this version is good, also it had a miss mapped front that i fixed.
