These screenshots were posted at RelicNews a couple of days ago along with the message that 'the whole Kadeshi race has been redesigned'.
On the first sight this seems like some kind of electromagnetic beam that spreads to nearby ships and causes damage over time. We hope to have more information on this soon.

What are this for lightnings?
It supposedly is a new Kadeshi AoE (Area of Effect) ability that has an at this time unknown effect for enemy vessels that are hit by hit.
ok i thought that was the Somtaww's ACV emp ability
