The FX Mod is a modification for the Homeworld 2 game by Sierra that aims to add all races from Homeworld 1 along with ton of changes. The mod is already marked as one of the top played and most liked mods while only 50% of the overall FX concept has been included so far.

Description

More data regarding the new Kadeshi feature seen in the previous screenshot has been confirmed. It indeed is a new feature scheduled for v1.82, the next upcoming version in the v1.8x series.

This feature is called the 'Crystal unit system' and uses crystals for Kadeshi weaponry upgrades. With other words, instead of just paying RUs for upgrades you will now have to pay additional crystals when you want to purchase a weapon upgrade. How these crystals can be obtained is yet unknown.
