Hi ya all! First of all thank you all for your comments on the sword! They kinda inspired me to experiment a little and here is the result.
So far I got my decompiling/compiling tools reconfigured after annual Windows cleanup install and fiddled around a bit to see if I can get the sword in game! And TaDaa here it is! Today it is only a replacer for Gordons Crowbar.. But it did crush bunch of pumpkins very satisfyingly. :D So alltho it took all day. It was a success.
Theres a lot more to do tho like adjusting the effects on the blade and making it glow and of course animating it like a sword. But this I believe is still quite a step onwards. :D

He purposely caused the resonance cascade to bring the xenos to Terra, so he could destroy them completely. But that was only a small part of the plan, as his true mission was to get the attention of the combine so he could wipe them from the universe, removing a considerable threat to the imperium.
But the person you play as in half life/half life 2 isn't an inquisitor yet, no. Because Gman is actually Gordon from the future, and HE is the inquisitor who went back in time, took control of himself, have himself his sword from the future and sent himself on the aforementioned mission.
