The addons will update soon with Juniez skins. Now the crossbow zoom problem i can't fix, because the 3D scope zoom through the model weapon, so it blackout.

By Juniez weapons, do you mean the ones Mr Brightside is animating?

Idea how to fix crossbow's scope: in materials\models\weapons\v_crossbow\lens.vmt change _rt_SmallFB1 to _rt_FullFrameFB. But this will probably eat way too much fps. I.imgur.com

WOAH. I love these types of scopes in source games. Thanks for the tip!

Is this something that can be edited with notepad, or does the model have to be extracted?

Neither of these options got my scope to be transparent like yours. Am I doing something wrong?

Uhm how can I download 1.01? Also a side note _rt_FullFrameFB only works when Motion Blur or SSAO is enabled. Similar happens with default _rt_SmallFB1 - it needs HDR (or maybe just bloom) enabled to work

The emplacement gun can't sight.

Do you mean lore wise or because of technical limitation? If latter you can just add Ironsight section to weapon script and it should work.

"Just simply put the custom to the directory of your HL2 MMod compatibility patch."

Yeah, that makes no sense to me, either.

I thought everyone know to install this, but for you two i know.

This image will help you how to put the custom. If you don't have custom create it one.

Okay, thank you very much. Sorry, I didn't know what you meant by "compatibility patch." I see now that you're referring to each game-specific install folder as a compatibility patch. That's a little weird, in my opinion - no offense intended.

Thanks for this, by the way. It was a little disappointing to find out the MMod's iron sights aren't actually iron sights at all.

I did put it in custom and it still doesn't work. Perhaps I extracted it wrong but I don't know what the problem is.

You know how pistol sights are actually supposed to be aligned right?

Donny-Quixotic

I worked out a config that should fix this.
Go to your the scripts folder for this patch (\custom\MMod_Iron_Sight\scripts) and edit the file weapon_pistol. I used an Up value of 2 and a Pitch value of -.3.

With those values, at a resolution of 1920x1080p, with an FOV of 90+, the pistol sights are adequately aligned and should remain zeroed and accurate throughout the pistol's effective range.

After I installed your addon, I noticed that Weapons like Pistol, SMG, Shotgun, Gravity gun aren't aligned properly. I tried to adjust them manually by changing script values but it was no use... How do I fix them?
