This patch helps fixes some ugly bugs I had with it, while also dealing with the migration from the old Visual Studio 2008 release, to the newer-ish Visual Studio 2019 version of the engine updated by solokiller.
Extract and replace everything inside the steamapps/Half-Life/Mortalkombat folder.
It may or may not crash, please provide feedback in the comments section.
Includes a better HUD for 1080, or rather, better positioned one.
Haven't really got the stuff worked out but:
- Fixed some problems with reloading
- Fixed some very very bad issues with strings, arrays and the VGUI HUD in particular
- Fixed some problems with weapon events and the kamidogu events.
- Fixed some issues with animations.
- Implemented all of the models into a single model v_1.mdl and no longer have to use multiple models for the weapons, they all share the same set of animations so I thought it would be wasteful to use a lot of models.
- new animations for players(kind of) more like proper animations for the ACTs they belonged to.
- shaders might work, but high "quality" textures won't. Still use at your own risk It is very prone to crashes :c
