Source ports:
- V1-V2.1: ZDoom 2.8.1, Zandronum
- V3: GZDoom

This mod is recommended for Singleplay levels, and of course for MP too (V1 and V2 has some problems with MP I didn't bother to confirm), but Deathmatch is not supported. Also these bots will not freeze in time. Meaning, the freeze cheat code will not work against them.

V1:

Ported from Marine Express
-Allies can't follow you properly
-Will sometimes try to run through a wall
-They always respawn

V2:

Brutal Doom's Marine AI
-Can follow you properly
-If you go far away from them they will teleport back to you
-They won't respawn
-A message will be shown whenever an ally is died (e.g. Your Fighter is shattered to pieces!)
-Can attack with weapons randomly (1,2,3 sets)

V2.1:

Brutal Doom's Marine AI
-Fixed Allies damaging the player
-Fixed Allies randomly attacking the player
-Made a hacky workaround the weapon puffs

V3:

100% Original AI written from scratch
- Issues from V1 and V2 are completely gone
- Uses 100% ZScript
- Allies are able to follow the Player throughout levels
- Allies are able to use the chat
- Multiplayer friendly
- Allies uses slightly modified original Hexen code when attacking/spawning projectiles
- Console is no longer required to spawn an Ally, instead you collect souls from fallen monsters
- Compatible with other mods
- Command system (by pressing use near them, or by bringing up the new special menu)
- Allies when they die the game will print an obituary as if they were Players

Bugs (V2.1):
-Colors will be reset If an Ally teleports back to you
-Flusks can damage the player (Unfixable ATM)

I'm using GZDoom, Am I supposed to type in the console "summon mage" to summon the mage? It doesn't seem to be working.

If you are using V1 the codes are different, in V2 it's "THEMage", "THEFighter" and "THECleric". You can find V1 codes' in the tutorials page

Yeah god knows why. I don't know why they don't make mods for Hexen, like Brutal Doom (Brutal Hexen exists.), but if was no Hexen in 1996, then it's possible that we can't make our own Mods (ex. Look up, down, jump, ACS etc..).
