Description
Various uniform textures for the Germans. Some of the combos won't make it into the game exactly like its shown here (The white camo parka dude will probably have full leg boots rather than ankle boots and will have gloves for example). But its all nice to look at and shows off some new things.
Like the SS deaths head insignia on his collar
That's actually always been there lol. I had only just noticed it as well. So much for TWIs "We won't be adding any SS or nazi stuff to the game for legal reasons" statement. But yeah if you play vannila RO2 and look at their collars they have the deaths head there on all german panzer crew members.
I've made a tankers M43 cap. I've also made a version with a eagle on it though never took a screenshot of it.
Totenkopf was insignia of Heer Panzer troops too.
Totenkopf itself was insignia of many elite units before WWII, like French and Swedish Hussars, British Lancers or Polish and Prussian cavalry. Panzer corps were risen from cavalry divisions and kept their traditions.
Lots of people got mistaken on this, some mistakes had dire consequences. Soviets for example often executed tankers because they assumed that if there's a skull symbol, they must be from SS.
