Nymets has just finished another astonishing map. The American assault on the port town of Brest. The assault left the city completely destroyed. American Tactics involved a lot of air support and heavy artillery both from naval vessels and ground based artillery. The German troops Surrendered only after they destroyed the port making it useless. The destruction of these ports left the allies with almost no where to ship in supplies. Leading to the failure of offensive operations and allowed the Axis forces to regroup and launch the counter attack in the Ardennes. The war could have been very different If Brest was taken undamaged.
