Stared down a long list of things I could do today. Tackled a few and ended up pulling an all-nighter for the pickup view mesh of the 10 gauge shotgun.
Historically, I've had issues in the past with poly count inefficiency, bad lighting/face assembly, awkward animations, and particularly some problems with shotgun body meets tube for shaping purposes.
I kept those in mind while tackling this and it's just under 900 polys (though is built quite efficient actually), the lighting and face assembly is marvelous, the design has been revised in a few aspects from its drawn form for accuracy, and even the original import sizing was perfect. Very proud of this piece.
Might go redo some meshes soon, rebalance some animation speeds maybe, who knows. Haven't meshed in a while and feel good about this.
