A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
We finally found the time to rotate a certain ship by 90 degrees! Btw, this ship is a placeholder for something more detailed in the works, but at least now it's set to the right orientation!
ohhhh...So that how it suppose to be. When i saw that ship in game. I thought it is normal.
Most people didn't realize it, but we did. Finally scratched that itch!
I bet it is very nice to itch that spot? :P Btw..that ship hit like a super freight train. O_O It hurt so bad.I have to spam antifighter ship to keep god-forsaken spores at bay. lol
For now, it's a cruiser that guard the flood planet?
In future, what'll it do in forerunner fraction?
It'll be the primary combat capital ship, much like the Marathon is now for the UNSC. It may not be the first, but it's the one you'll use the most for ******* other fleets.
I'm curious how the balance of power is going to be? Or what will it take to over match a forerunner fleet? I'm digging into the books and games when it comes to this question. Ending cut scene for "The Storm" from Halo 3, the three frigates couldn't damage the dreadnought. Halo Wars campaign, dormant forerunner fleet destroyed by an exploding star in a collapsing shield world. Ghosts of Onyx, the "Onyx Sentinel", when in a group could over power covenant ships.
Fighting any forerunner ship as the unsc in the current version I don't take any chances and will commit an entire battlegroup to just securing the wormhole. The covies of course have it easier. If it is true to the lore then the unsc should stand little to no chance while the covenant would have the best odds at defeating a forerunner faction.
Or I am speaking a bunch of ********.
If we were bringing the Forerunners back at the height of their power and knowledge with a connection to the Domain you'd be right.
So then the question still stands as to how you plan a forerunner faction will play out against the unsc and covenant.
From what I remember they will have highly expensive units to counter balance their strength. But that is from when I played the broken version that got released and being a play tester for a short time.
That actually makes sense. Course then it might make it feel like fighting the Borg from STA3.
The Forerunners ships will probably take up a lot of unit cap, so little fleets and the ships will most likely be expensive out the ***. So while they will probably have strength over every faction they will have very little numbers. Plus its not like the UNSC can nuke them to **** or anything lol.
Well, I don't know if it's still the plan, but a while back someone mentioned that they'd have cheap, weak frigates and light cruisers, but the Vanguard and Capitals would be insanely expensive and powerful.
Spores... SPores... SPOres... SPORes... SPOREs.... SPORES... Damn!
Im just gonna take a guess and guess that ship you have in the works is the Didacts ship?
You're thinking of the Mantle's Approach, which is already finished.
Oh forgot about that :P
Good. Good, now Punic and all other twin-MAC will have a better chances to lay all bolts per shot.
And what's about UNSC Prowler Corps ( Still corpse?) )?
Does it turn 45 degrees?
Forerunner orientation :D I dont want to but I have so many inapropriate jokes ready :D
That was deliberate.
