Seems very.. headache inducing. the same line over and over again isnt very appealing. im looking at this from a musicians point of view. I am constantly making new music like this. maybe i can help you guys out with making music for the mod?
I like the rhythm, but even a different sample for the guitar might make it sound better.
I use Linux Miltimedia studio, and it comes with many great samples and i have a few that i've made.
Im not saying its horrible. it just needs some work.
I have to agree with Runemaster that it's a bit headache incuding if listened to more than once in a row, or with headphones. It's decent though, and I really like the other things you've made. I say keep working on this one a bit, and maybe try to smooth it out a little bit, it just feels like I'm being punched with this lol... I don't know if that made any sense even to me.
It's a bit repetitive, but if this accompanies ships blasting the hell out of each other, I won't care.
This is still a major WIP. Expect a huge difference when I post a final version. The difference will be like comparing the original Covenant Dance to the final Covenant Dance.
Im working on it right now, using the first lead line in a bass riff, then laying on that first verse in a piano. Its not as rough but I'm trying to tweak it to still give it the same intensity you're striving for.
