Our representation of Halo's iconic space combat in the Homeworld 2 engine, which puts the player in command of some of the most powerful weapons fielded by the UNSC and Covenant and to provide a balanced and competitive experience.
The UNSC's harvester. Based on the pod ship from Halowars that drops off the firebase, but with obvious changes.
The ship will land on rather large asteroids, take a rather large harvest and take it to a refinery ship. Our current plan is this will give a rather petty RU deposit, but the refinery ship will then spawn a cargo pod that will be taken by freighter back to anchor 12, where it'll give you a much larger RU value in the same way gathering wreckage does in vanilla HW2.
Question: whats the ship with the highest poly count in vanilla HW2 vs the ships in Halo Homefront (so far)? Cause HOW can the game even run this?!!?
I'd say the highest poly ship in HW2 stock would have to be the Vaygr Mothership, but I am not too sure.
I think it's probably Sajuuk or the dreadnought, or the motherships. I'd put them at maby 1k-1.6k, while HHF ships range from 10-20k. Anchor 12 is the highest poly at 24k.
I don't think the actual engine influences the polycount from what i know, some engines will obviously be better than others due to different rendering methods, but so far HW2 doesn't have any problems. Texture resolution and stuff is a much bigger issue.
Maybe make the side engines point downwards for landing? You already have engines in the back.
do those engines look like they rotate? or is it just me?
They can.
Yay I guessed right =D I guess even with glasses I have a keen eye =P
