Evolutions is a "Halo Wars" style mod for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars that features epic ground and air warfare on a massive scale. Evolutions brings many instruments of war from the Halo universe to life, allowing the player to fight as the Covenant or the UNSC in epic battles based on iconic Halo locales.

Description
The UNSC Radar provides you with a satellite view of the battle field.
It can be upgrade with small Radar dishes to detect enemy stealth units. It also provides you with ODST reinforcement that drops in the battle from the UNSC Wings of a Angel thats in orbit, above the battlefield

The UNSC don't have radar they have giant motion tracking stations :P
Same differene really, I wonder what its purpose in game will be though. Will it unlock the minimap like the radar upgrade for China in Generals? or will it be something along the lines of a stealth detection structure?
From the sound of the description, it provides the minimap to you, as well as a support power, and can be upgraded to detect stealth within a particular radius that I'd assume to be close in size to that of Nod's Disruption tower's effect, essentially making this an important structure that, with aforementioned upgrade, functions as a sort of "Anti-disruption tower".

The top reminds me of the air tower from Halo Wars. Looks interesting.
we used the prototype air tower for the design of the radar.
