due to all the negativity I am done with this mod, I do this **** for fun you guys have taken all the fun out of it. sorry to those that did enjoy the mod I was working on the dll and saw this **** calling me a thief when I gave credit and thought why am I doing all this work for people to hate on me for no reason.

To be honest, I just don't like HD packs with gag and extreme HD. For me, the maximum is "High Definition 2 Pack", and that's all
The design of the game itself (as well as any other shooters of the 90s and early 2000s) is simply not created for some kind of HD textures and models. From this, the atmosphere of the game is lost.
I hate UD-packs, yeah. But here is another case - just a copy-paste of other people's work. No matter how badly I treated them, they tried. You just took other people's work and did not mention them in сredits. Just do it right next time. It's enough.
You gave credit... and? It's still a mishmash of 2 separate mods that (in all honesty) don't look too great together. I loved your previous work with Doom 3 and Quake 4 but I think you've missed the mark with this one.

I'm going to take the blame for the initially hostile reception this got, and for that I do apologise. I was pretty negative, and it wasn't really justified... especially as I was somewhat wrong about one of my main complaints. So again, I'm sorry.
Unfortunately, mods that are simple collections of other peoples work, often made without giving credit, are pretty frequent on ModDB, so people like me can be very quick to call them out... and based on your initial release, that's what I thought you were as well. The fact you've added credits shows you're not like those other mods.
Unfortunately... here's where I have to offer CONSTRUCTIVE feedback. The second file you've uploaded is actually larger than the first one! it's nearly 50MBs bigger - and it still has the detailzeno folder, despite you saying you were going to remove it.
I didn't experience the problem with client.dll that others did, and I will admit in-game it does look nice. If I (and others) have genuinely chased you away, than I'm sorry. But this IS the internet, and you do have to be prepared for a little pushback when things aren't quite right. Clearly you got more than a little, which is on us, but still... aside from me (and I'll admit, I DID go overboard) you only got 3 particularly negative comments, which you've dealt with pretty well.
If nothing else, this does teach you the importance of properly crediting people. That's definitely something we get very defensive about!
